Terms

The short version: the check is free, an order covers one domain with 30 days of re-checks, and if our re-check cannot confirm your fix, you get your money back.

Effective October 27, 2026

The free check

Pewterkit Check reads the public pages of a live website, the way a visitor's browser does, and reports what it finds with the evidence for each finding. Check sites you run or have permission to check. Deeper, owner-confirmed checks are on the way; until they arrive, every check reads public pages only.

One payment, one domain

Works-or-refund (14 days)

Works-or-refund (14 days): if you follow a fix you bought and our re-check cannot confirm it on your live site within 14 days of purchase, email hq@pewterkit.com and we refund you. See Refunds for how to ask.

What a check covers

Every finding reflects what your public pages showed at the moment of the check. The rules kit looks for what is present on your site, such as a linked privacy policy or a renewal statement near the buy button, and gives you plain-English templates to adapt. These are starting points, not legal advice; for anything specific to your business, a lawyer's quick review is worth it.

Fair use

Use Pewterkit Check to improve sites you run or help run. Please do not use it to overload a site, to get around a site owner's request to stop, or to resell results as your own service.

Liability

We build every check carefully and prove it in our lab before it ships. Our total liability to you for anything related to Pewterkit Check is limited to $100 (£100 if you paid in pounds). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and your statutory consumer rights stay in place.

Changes and contact
